Ayulieth Reyes-Corral, a parent who has students who attend Spinning, met with the principal to share her thanks for all that the school has done for her students.  She also shared that she was representing other families in her community who would like the opportunity to give back to the school.

Ayulieth and the other Hispanic/Latino families in the community shared their desire to host a Mexican Carnival at the school complete with Latin music, raffle drawings, movie for the kids, and authentic Mexican food.  All the food was prepared by these families many of whom work at the local Mexican restaurant.

The carnival was on Sunday, March 26th from 4-7 p.m. at Spinning with well over 250 in attendance.  The event raised $1,500 for Spinning which will use $500 for the 6th grade party, $500 for books in Spanish, and $500 for our PTA to help host other family events.

The Spinning families that came together to make this event possible are generous beyond compare. Thank you so much.
